I deeply resent White House issuance of a citation from President Bush commending my deceased brother's service in the United States Marine Corps. The citation is nothing but an opportunistic act by Bush to curry favor with families of deceased military, and I return it to you. It is also an extremely offensive means to justify the loss of so many brave soldiers sent to their deaths in this reckless, heedless, catastrophic war of choice.
Bush need not wait for history's verdict. His legacy is the economic, social, strategic, and societal meltdown all around us. His tenure in office is the worst in our history, and a calamity of epic proportions. The only question remaining is how many generations it will take to recover from his presidency.
